<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new framework in which information useful for the search of the individual scene of video content of a DVD, or the like is aggregated and utilized. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a program providing server to a terminal having a DVD reproducing unit, and a DB server for managing video content metadata. A program allows the terminal to function as a means for displaying a metadata input window related to the individual scene on a display device in the reproduction display of the video content, a means for acquiring the scene identification information of the individual scene of the video content, and a means for sending a set of metadata inputted by the user via the window for the individual scene and scene identification information acquired for the individual scene to a DB server. The DB server has a means for receiving a set of metadata and scene identification information from the terminal, and a management means for enabling the metadata included in the received set to correspond to the scene identification data for management. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
