<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for accurately measuring the temperature of a filter element to eliminate defects of a conventional system and method. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, a temperature sensor 30 is installed in the filter element 10, and also a radio transmitter 40 is positioned around or integrally with the temperature sensor 30. The radio transmitter 40 can be encapsulated together with the temperature sensor 30 into one integral part, or the radio transmitter 40 and the sensor 30 can be separated each other to intercommunicate via electric signal, etc. A radio receiver 60 located outside a filter housing 20 is used for communication with the radio transmitter, an RFID reader or base station will be used as the radio receiver.
