<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contamination prevention method of a fuel cell air electrode capable of maintaining high power generation efficiency for a long period of time by effectively removing a contaminant in an atmosphere by a simple and compact facility. <P>SOLUTION: In supplying air A to the air electrode of a fuel cell 4, the air A is passed through an adsorbing removing layer in a contaminant removing device 2 formed by filling a contaminant adsorbent containing Mn oxide and/or Mn-Cu composite oxide and alkali metal ruthenate and/or alkaline earth metal ruthenate, and then is supplied to the air electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
