<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by preheating a powdered material used for manufacturing a separator formed of a graphite powder mixed with a thermosetting resin binder, and then filling a mold with the preheated powdered material so as to shorten a time needed for rising a material temperature. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a fuel cell separator produces a fuel cell separator by using a mold 10 to perform compression molding of a powdered material 100. The apparatus for manufacturing a fuel cell separator includes a material feeder 60 which supplies the powdered material 100 to the cavity 50 of the mold 10.
