<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an information processor capable of autonomously controlling power supply less in power consumption on the whole by saving electric power more by making the time for which electric power is supplied to respective functional sections shorter as to the information processor and a control method of the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor includes a GPU 105 which starts generating image data as instructed by a CPU 101, a DC 106 which displays the generated image data, and a PM 102 which controls supply of electric power to the CPU 101, GPU 105, and DC 106, wherein the GPU 105 reports the end of the image data generation to the DC 106, which reports the end of image display processing to a PM 102 directly or indirectly. The PM 102 stops supplying electric power to the CPU 101 as instructed by the CPU 101, and also stops supplying electric power to the GPU 105 and DC 106 on receiving the report on the end of the image display processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
