PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens system suitable for a digital camera or an information terminal such as a portable phone with a camera function. SOLUTION: The zoom lens system 11 is constituted of three groups, that is, negative, positive and positive groups in order from an object side. The first lens group G1 is constituted of a negative glass lens L11, a negative plastic lens L12 and a positive plastic lens L13, the second lens group G2 is constituted of a doublet CL comprising a positive glass lens L21 and a negative glass lens L22, and a plastic lens L23, and the third lens group G3 is constituted of a positive plastic lens L31. A composite focal length f2 of the second lens group and a focal length Lf23 of the lens L23 satisfy a condition: 0<¾f2/Lf23¾<0.3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
