PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for testing by which durability of a curable material for producing a dental restoration comprising an acrylic or a methacrylic ester-based polymerizable monomer as a curing component after use thereof can be tested and accurately judged according to a simple technique in a short time. SOLUTION: The method for testing the durability of the curable material for producing the dental restoration comprising the acrylic or methacrylic ester-based polymerizable monomer after use in dental restoration before the use is characterized as follows. The cured material of the curable material for producing the dental restoration is brought into contact with a solution of a basic dye, specifically magenta, methylene blue, etc., to judge the dyed state thereof.
