PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front part structure for absorbing light shock without plastically deforming a lower cross member and securing rigidity of the vehicle body front part structure. SOLUTION: In this vehicle body front part structure 10, an upper beam 20 is laid in the vehicle width direction over left and right supports 21 and 22 of a front bulkhead 14. A front grille 25 mounted on a bumper face 26 is arranged on the vehicle body front side of the upper beam 20. In the structure 10, the upper beam 20 is formed into a curved shape to project toward the front side of the vehicle body and is formed to be elastically deformable, and a locking claw 48 lockable on the front grille 25 is provided on an upper face 20c of a center part 46.
