PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct drawing-type printing original plate for use in a direct-drawing type printing plate where an image creating liquid is ejected and directly attached to the printing original plate so as to form an image area, which enables high resolution while having a relatively simple constitution and which is used for the direct-drawing type printing plate excellent in printability and printing resistance, a manufacturing method for the original plate, and a plate-making method for the original plate, and a plate-making method for the direct-drawing type printing plate using the direct drawing-type printing original plate. SOLUTION: This direct drawing-type printing original plate 1 comprises: an aluminum base material 2; a hydrophilic layer 3 which is provided on the base material; and a dot control layer 4 which is provided on the hydrophilic layer, and which has a critical surface tension equal to/lower than the surface tension of an image creating liquid. The direct drawing-type printing plate is obtained by ejecting the image creating liquid onto the surface of the original plate 1 by means of an inkjet recording head and subsequently curing it.
