PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reducing rolls with which a target rugged pattern is stably obtained without round edges in the rugged shape of a product sheet and cracks caused by positional deviation in the rotational direction of a roll and the axial direction of the roll in a pair of upper and lower reducing rolls on which the rugged pattern is applied to the middle part. SOLUTION: In the pair of the upper and lower reducing rolls which have a flat part in the periphery and to the part except for the periphery of which the rugged pattern 11 is applied, a recessed and projection part 12 is provided to both end parts of the upper and lower reducing rolls respectively over the entire circumference. In these reducing rolls, the clearances 31 between a recessed part and a projecting part in the axial direction of the rugged pattern and in the direction perpendicular to the axial line are larger than the clearances 32 between the recessed part and the projection part in the axial direction of the recessed and projection part 12 and in the direction perpendicular to the axial line, and a pitch (p) in the rotational direction of the roll of the recessed and projection part 12 is integer number times the pitch (P) in the rotational direction of the roll of the rugged pattern 11.
