A displacement compressor/aspirator with simplified assembly, particularly for use in aerosol therapy and/or drainage of biological fluids, comprises a piston (17) held in a cylinder (20), a motor (10) operably coupled to the piston (17), a protective casing (2) for housing the motor (10), the cylinder (20) and the piston (17), a head (28) having an inlet conduit (29) and an outlet conduit (31). The casing (2) has an upper half-shell (5) and a lower half-shell (4) rigidly connected by first screw fastener members or the like (6). The cylinder (20) is integrally joined to the lower half-shell (4) of the casing (2) and is formed of one piece with the lower half-shell (4) or is rigidly joined thereto by second screw fastener means or the like (6'). The first (6) and second (6') fastener means are designed to be inserted from the exterior of one of the half-shells (4, 5) thereby simplifying operations and reducing assembly times. |
