An apparatus for attaching a polarizing plate and a method for attaching a polarizing plate are provided to attach a polarizing plate by compressed air instead of the rubber roller while preventing pollution due to impurities to remove readjustment of a position of a rubber roller due to abrasion of the rubber roller, and pressurize the polarizing plate without direct physical contact to minimize damage applied to a liquid crystal display. An upper table(200) has an absorbing element absorbing a polarizing plate(400) for fixing the polarizing plate, and a pressurizing element pressurizing the polarizing plate with compressed air. A lower table(300) includes a securing element securing a liquid crystal display panel(100) for fixing the liquid crystal display panel, and a transferring element aligning the liquid crystal display panel and moving the liquid crystal display panel forward. |
