<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for freeze diagnosis capable of normally detecting a disabled detection condition in a reliable manner with a pressure sensor frozen. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for freeze diagnosis of pressure sensor includes a pressure sensor 10A to be diagnosed and a pressure sensor 10B to be used for comparison in freeze diagnosis, a detection condition determining means for determining the detection conditions of both pressure sensors 10A and 10B, and freezing time difference applying means 13a and 13b to cause a difference in detection conditions of both sensors when the sensors 10A and 10B become frozen. The apparatus includes the freezing time difference applying means for causing the difference in detection conditions between both sensors when at least two pressure sensors become frozen. A specific difference is caused in an output when the sensor becomes frozen, as a result of determining/comparing the detection conditions of the pressure sensor by the detection condition determining means.
