PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of displaying information, in a form in response to convenience for a user. SOLUTION: Interactive communication means are provided respectively in an air conditioner main body 1 and a remote controller 3, a measuring means is provided in the air conditioner main body 1 to measure an electric power consumption or an electricity rate, a request key 12 and display 5 are provided in the remote controller 3, a data is transmitted from the air conditioner main body 1 to the remote controller 3, when the request key 12 is operated during an operation of the air conditioner, and the remote controller 3 makes the electric power consumption or the electricity rate from the start of operation up to the point thereof displayed on the display 5.
