PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted navigation apparatus capable of reducing the effects of zero-point drift of a 3D gyrosensor when a vehicle comes close to a slope road and determining the current position of the vehicle without any delays in determination on the entrance to the slope road nor confusing users. SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted navigation apparatus includes a vehicle inclination angle detection means for detecting and outputting the angle A of inclination of the vehicle; an inclination change detection means provided for a suspension mechanism 19 of the vehicle for detecting changes B in the inclination of a road in which a vehicle is traveling on the basis of changes in elongation and contraction of the suspension mechanism; and a determination means for capturing information on both the angle A of inclination from the vehicle inclination angle detection means and inclination changes B from the inclination change detection means provided for the suspension mechanism 19 of the vehicle and determining whether the vehicle has traveled to a slope road among roads overlapping or adjacent in a plan view on the basis of verification with the angle D of inclination of a road at a point corresponding to the current position of the vehicle in map information.
