PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast recording apparatus capable of more surely executing video recording reservation of a desired program. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast recording apparatus 100 for receiving digital broadcasting and recording broadcast data includes: a channel map data file 12A for storing physical channels and broadcast station information in cross reference with each other; an entry section 6 for designating a broadcast station name and a reservation time; and a storage control means (a CPU 10 and a video recording program 12A) for extracting a physical channel from the channel map data file 12A on the basis of the broadcast station name designated by the entry section 6 and storing broadcast data at the reservation time of the extracted physical channel to an HDD 6.
