PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module that can control the inrush current and voltage variation occurring when a wired substrate is actively inserted into an optical communication apparatus regardless of wiring density of the substrate, with sufficient reliability. SOLUTION: The optical module 10 is provided with the wired substrate 18. The wired substrate 18 includes a plurality of terminal patterns 8 in contact with a connector terminal 102b of the optical communication apparatus body. Of the plurality of terminal patterns 8, a power supply terminal pattern 82 and a signal terminal pattern 84 are respectively divided into a plurality of terminals 82a, 82b and 84a, 84b arranged in the loading and unloading direction. The plurality of terminals 82a, 82b are mutually connected electrically via a resistance element 86 and the resistance element 86 is embedded within the wired substrate 18. Similarly, the plurality of terminals 84a, 84b are also electrical connected via the a resistance element 90 and the resistance element 90 is embedded within the wired substrate 18.
