PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive switch having a structure suitable to be mounted to a moisture- or dust-prone apparatus to be controlled. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive switch 1 includes a switch body 2 having a metallic airtight container, and a cover 3 made of resin that covers a terminal portion of the switch body 2. An electrically insulating filler 5 is charged and hardened in a space inside the cover in which a conducting terminal 2A and a lead wire 4 are connected and fixed. A ring-shaped sealing member 6 is disposed to cover a contact portion between the cover 3 and the switch body 2. The sealing member 6 is formed of an elastic material such as rubber and has a generally rectangular cross section. The sealing member 6 has an inner peripheral surface 6A that is entirely in tight contact with a flange 2B of the switch body 2, and has a step 6B to serve as an engaging portion at an inner upper end so as to be engaged with the flange 2B.
