PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance contrast while maintaining light utilization efficiency. SOLUTION: A plurality of electro-optical elements E are arranged on a face of a substrate 10. By diffracting emitted light from the respective electro-optical elements, a hologram lens 61 focuses a flux of light of the emitted light. A light shielding layer 70 is arranged on the opposite side of the substrate 10 pinching the hologram lens 61. A plurality of opening parts 71 in which diffracted light by the respective hologram lenses 61 passes are formed in the light shielding layer 70.
