PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel joint structure for a vehicle body capable of easily preventing seal material for electrolytic corrosion prevention, intervened between panels which are made by various types of metal, from dropping. SOLUTION: In this panel joint structure for the vehicle body, upright surfaces 11, 21 are formed by bending edge portions 10, 20 of a roof side outer panel 4 (a first panel) which is made by various types of metal and constitutes the vehicle body 1, and a roof panel 6 (a second panel) respectively. The edge portions of the upright surfaces 11, 21 are bent further to form joint surfaces 12, 22, and the joint surface 22 of the roof panel 6 is layered on an upper side of the joint surface 12 of the roof side outer panel 4 through the seal material S for electrolytic corrosion prevention to be jointed. A dent emboss portion 13 is formed at a top end portion of the joint surface 12 of the roof side outer panel 4, and an extension portion 14 (a portion in which the emboss portion 13 is not formed) is set so that the extension length T1 from the upright surface 11 may become longer than the emboss portion 13.
