PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paving body and a construction material superior in light resistance and intelligent in a change in a color corresponding to a temperature change, and to further provide the paving body and the construction material for improving scenic properties and design. SOLUTION: This paving body 10 is constituted so that a backing layer 20 including a white or the other colored pigment or dye is formed on a paved road surface 50, and a temperature indicating material layer 30 including a heat reversible temperature indicating material is formed on the backing layer 20, and a heat resistant layer 40 including a heat resistant material is formed on the temperature indicating material layer 30.
