The base pipe includes at least one radial port to communicate well fluid, and the base pipe has an outer surface. The screen is mounted to the base pipe and is adapted to at least partially surround the base pipe. The radial port(s) of the base pipe are covered by the screen. The perforating charge(s) are mounted to the outer surface of the base pipe.
