A memory card (1) is provided with at least a semiconductor chip (3); a circuit board (2) whereupon the semiconductor chip (3) is mounted on the side of a main plane (21) and has a rigidity reducing section (23) formed on at least in a linear region on the main plane (21) or on a plane (22) opposite to the main plane; and a cover section (71) on the side of the main plane (21) of the circuit board (2) for covering the semiconductor chip (3). The circuit board (2) is provided with a plurality of protruding regions (201) which warp in a protruding shape to the side of the main plane (21) by the rigidity reducing section (23).
