<p>There is provided a fence post (10) having a web (11) and locating elements (12) for engagement with an end 5 portion of a barrier panel. The web has opposite inner and outer surfaces, and is profiled to facilitate alignment of the fence post with another said post when those posts are arranged back to back with the outer surfaces of the webs in abutting relation. The web (11) incorporates at least 10 one longitudinal groove (20,21) that in use provides a channel between the abutting webs of fence posts (10) for drainage of water from between the posts. There is also provided an intermediate fence post assembly (50) comprising two of the posts (10) arranged back to back 15 with their respective webs in abutting relation, as well as a fence (100) incorporating a plurality of the fence posts (10) and/or fence post assemblies (50).</p> |
