<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of releasing air in a space surrounded by a cap, a rotary shaft and a torque limiter, and capable of preventing infiltration of moisture from an air releasing hole arranged in the cap. <P>SOLUTION: This power transmission device has a pulley 1, a hub 2, torque transmitting elastic members 2a and 2c and the torque limiter 3. The torque limiter and a compressor rotary shaft 4 are joined by screw-fitting. The cap 5 fitted to the torque limiter is arranged in front of a screw-fitting part so as to cover the rotary shaft tip. A through-hole 5a is arranged in the substantial center of the cap. An annular or polygonal projection part 5d is arranged on a front face 5b or an inner surface 5c or both surfaces of the cap so as to surround the through-hole 5a.
