<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the pattern color tone controlling method and pattern color tone controlling device of a printing machine, by which a printed sheet having a desired color tone can be obtained quickly even after a small metering number. <P>SOLUTION: After a first metering comprising the execution of printing, the stoppage of the printing machine and the metering of an actual color density, a first correction of the supplying amount of inks based on a density difference between a pre-set target color density and the first actual color density obtained by the first metering and a second metering comprising the restarting of the printing machine after the first metering, the execution of printing, the re-stoppage of the printing machine and an actual color density is measured, the pattern color tone controlling is performed by correcting the supplying amounts of inks from a density difference between an actual color density with color tone converged, and the target color density based on a time constant predetermined as the number of sheets printed until its color tone converges after the first correction, a density difference between the target color density and the second actual color density obtained by the second metering, a difference between the first actual color density and the second actual color density and the number of sheets printed during the period of time ranging from a stop time point to a re-stop time point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
