<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative pressure booster exhibiting improved operation feeling in failure by preventing a lost stroke. <P>SOLUTION: In a brake-by-wire mounted vehicle equipped with the booster for assisting brake pedal force, the brake control device is provided with an oil chamber to which a stroke of a brake pedal is transmitted, a first oil passage communicating a sub cylinder of a master cylinder with the oil chamber, a second oil passage connecting the sub cylinder and a reserver, a normally open control valve for performing communication/shutting off of the first oil passage, a normally close control valve for performing communication/shutting off of the second oil passage, and a stroke regulating means for permitting and regulating a stroke of a stroke simulator. When generating the master cylinder pressure by the booster, a control unit shuts off the normally open control valve and the normally close control valve, and outputs a command for permitting the stroke of the stroke simulator with respect to the stroke regulating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
