<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless DC motor controller in which field-weakening control can be performed, without increasing the load on a microcontroller, even in an ultra-high speed rotary zone. <P>SOLUTION: The brushless DC motor controller comprises a speed signal generator 1, a speed control unit 2 for generating a voltage command from a speed command and the speed signal, a generator 3 for generating a PWM signal from the voltage command, a generator 4 for generating a distribution signal from a pole position signal, a generator 5 for generating a gate signal from a first distribution signal and a PWM signal, and an inverter 6 for driving a brushless DC motor 7 by amplifying the gate signal. The distribution signal generator comprises a generator 8 for generating a first pole position signal by rearranging the pole position signals, a timing control unit 9 for generating a second pole position signal by delaying the first pole position signal depending on the speed signal, and a combiner 10 for generating the distributed signal by subjecting the second pole position signal to logical processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
