<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum cipher key sharing system and wire-tapping detection method in which presence/non-presence of wire tapping can be discriminated and secrecy of a quantum cipher key (private key) can be secured, even when there is an illegal action (an internal illegal person exists) in a device which receives information about quantum cipher generation. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transmitter 1 sends to an optical receiver 5 one of quantum entangles paired photons making empty preceding and following (0th and (N+1)-th) time slots in a series of N time slots and spread by 1st to N-th N time slots, and also sends the other photon to an optical receiver 11. An (N+2)-th time slot disclosing means discloses the number of the (N+2)-th time slot, and based on the disclosed number, a photon existence discriminating means 35 judges whether a photon is detected in the (N+2)-th time slot or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
