PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power saved wireless LAN multicast communication quality control techniques with which communication quality of a multicast application can be maintained. SOLUTION: An AP [3-5] transmits beacon signals in a fixed cycle and transmits DTIM beacon signals in a cycle where the beacon signals are intermittent. In a case [3-1] where an STA which operates under power saved control exists and an STA which receives a packet of multicast data exists, the AP [3-5] updates [3-6] information into the number of intermissions less than the number of intermissions in a timing to transmit a DTIM beacon signal [3-8]. In a case [3-2] where the STA that operates under power saved control does not exist or the STA which receives a packet of multicast data does not exist, the AP [3-5] updates [3-7] information on the number of intermissions into the number of intermission before a change into the number of intermission less than the number of intermissions in a timing to transmit a DTIM beacon signal [3-33].
