PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital displacement measuring device capable of performing easily and finely depth position adjustment of an engaging key, and reducing a rotation transmission error, while securing smooth advance/retreat of a spindle. SOLUTION: The engaging key 413 is arranged obliquely to the spindle 2 so that the axis of the engaging key 413 crosses the axis of the spindle 2 at an acute angle. Hereby, an approaching distance of the tip part 414 of the engaging key 413 to a key groove 23 becomes short, with respect to a moving distance of the engaging key 413 to its tip direction, to thereby enable easy and fine adjustment of the depth position of the engaging key 413.
