PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size water pump capable of adjusting supply quantity of cooling liquid. SOLUTION: In this water pump 20, a pump case 7, an impeller 8 rotatably stored in the pump case 7, a shaft body 1 rotatably supported on the pump case 7 and having rotary drive force input, and a drive force transmission means provided between the shaft body 1 and the impeller 8 are provided, the drive force transmission means includes a magnet member 4 provided in such a manner that the same rotates together with the shaft body 1 and a magnet member 9 arranged with keeping interval with the shaft body 1 and provided in such a manner that the same rotates together with the impeller 8, and rotary drive force input to the shaft body 1 is transmitted to the impeller 8 via magnetic force between the magnet members 4, 9. A spring 11 and an electromagnetic clutch 12 variably adjusting relative position of the magnet member 4 and the magnet member 9 in an axial direction are provided moreover.
