摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technical means of forming a specific 3D (3-dimensional) cubic mesostructure silica and a thin film thereof simply, easily, and efficiently. SOLUTION: A 3-dimensional cubic mesoporous silica monolith is formed by mixing a silica precursor, a cationic surfactant, and a hydrophobic organic compound to prepare sol, drying the sol, and then firing the dried sol. Further, a 3-dimensional cubic mesoporous silica thin film is formed by mixing a silica precursor, a cationic surfactant, and a hydrophobic organic compound to prepare sol, applying or spreading the sol on a solid substrate into a thin layer, drying the thin-layer sol, and then firing the dried thin-layer sol.
