PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrict passage of air (oxygen) filled in a tire internal chamber through a width direction center part of an inner liner 20. SOLUTION: In forming the inner liner 20 by winding a rubber sheet 34 around a first molding drum 35, a first and a second narrow rubber sheets 34a and 34b are disposed at the width direction center part in addition to a first, a second, and a third wide rubber sheets 34c, 34d and 34e. The gauge of the inner liner 20 is thus set to become larger from both width direction ends toward the width direction center when wound around the first molding drum 35. The inner liner 30 is deformed from a cylindrical form into a toroidal form. Even when the gauge at the width direction center part becomes thinner, the gauge at the width direction center part can be similar to the gauge of both width direction end parts.
