<p>This invention provides an odor mixing apparatus, which, even when the number of kinds of element odors is increased, can eliminate the need to increase the number of carrier gas containers and does not cause a lowering in the highest concentration of gas supplied from one element odor gas. The odor mixing apparatus comprises N (wherein N is an integer of 2 or more) element odor containers (10<SUB>2</SUB> to 10<SUB>32</SUB>), M (wherein M is an integer of 1 or more and less than N) carrier gas containers (10<SUB>1</SUB>), a mixing line (12) for leading an element odor gas to a mixing part, a bypass system (13) for discharging the element odor gas,a mixing part (14) for mixing element odor gases, and a solenoid (11) for switching the connection between the element odor containers and carrier gas containers and the mixing or bypass system. A computer (20) conducts control so that the number of element odor containers, which are simultaneously connected to the mixing system, is brought to not more than M and, further, the carrier gas containers in the same number as the element odor containers connected to the mixing system are connected to the bypass system and the period of time, per a predetermined period of time, of connection between the element odor container and the mixing systemis controlled based on a predetermined mixing ratio of the element odor gas.</p> |
