<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor capable of being surely clamped with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This outboard motor 1 is provided with a cowl 3 constituted of a top cowl 3a and a bottom cowl 3b. The top cowl 3a and the bottom cowl 3b can be attached/detached by a clamping device 18.
