<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure holding of an FPC, while realizing fixing and protection of the connecting portion, and reduce the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A double-sided FPC/FFC connector makes contact the conductors 3, 3' of FPC/FFC 1 arranged on both sides with the terminals 8, 9 installed in a connector housing 4. A hard reinforcement plate 2 with a window is installed at the tip of the FPC/FFC 1 so that the conductor 3 with at least one face that is inserted from an insertion port 5 of the connector housing 4 of the FPC/FFC and connected to the terminals 8, 9 may be exposed from the window 2A, and one of the terminal 8 is engaged into the window 2A formed in the reinforcement plate 2 and is made to contact the conductor 3, while coming-off of the reinforcement plate is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
