PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install necessary software according to the connecting status of equipment in a system to be used in combination of a plurality of equipment. SOLUTION: In this system where a plurality of communication equipment 102, 112, 122, 132, 142 are connected to a server device 160 through a network 170, when new communication equipment is detected on the network 170, a service available by the new communication equipment is decided based on a service list, and a service available by input/output devices 101, 111, 121, 131, 141 connected to the new communication equipment and those capabilities is decided, and software which provides the service is received from the server device 160 and installed.
