PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver on which a transmitter-receiver integrated subassembly is properly mounted. SOLUTION: The transmitter-receiver integrated subassembly 11 mounted on the optical transceiver 10 includes a light emitting subassembly 19, which subassembly has a bracket 43 containing a ring part 44 attached to the side face of a stem 23. The optical transceiver further includes a hard substrate 38 having a via hole connected to a grounding lead pin 24 extended from the stem 23, and provided with a flexible substrate 34 for electrically connecting the hard substrate and a circuit substrate 12. The bracket includes a first extension part 46 that extends from the ring part to abut on the hard substrate, wherein this first extension part holds the hard substrate apart from the stem.
