PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-diameter long-sized material pushing apparatus for inserting a small-diameter long-sized material such as a pipe into a drilled hole by giving the long-sized material a pushing force from a vertical shaft on the insertion side. SOLUTION: The small-diameter long-sized material pushing apparatus 10 is used to insert a small-diameter pipe 14 into a drilled hole 13 extended from an opening 13a formed in the side wall 16 of the vertical shaft 11. Wire supporting sections 18, 19 placed opposite to each other around the opening 13a with the opening 13a being interposed between them and a pulling unit 26 are used to tension the opening crossing section 25a of a wire 25. The opening crossing section 25a of the wire 25 is wrapped around pulleys 21a, 21b on a pushing plate 20 removably attached on the rear end section 14b of the pipe 14. When the wire 25 extended from the wire supporting section 18 is pulled by the pulling unit 26, a tension force is given to the opening crossing section 25a of the wire 25 to pull the pushing plate 20 toward the opening 13a so that the pipe 14 is inserted into the drilled hole 13.
