PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate production controller where, regarding plates in which the shapes after working are variously different, the creation of a suitable carrying program can be easily performed and stable carrying is made possible, and particularly, when the plate is held again after being temporarily carried away, its suitable holding can be performed. SOLUTION: A positional information communication means 37 of transferring information F1 on the working position of a working program 32 from a working machine controller 31 to a carrying controller 33 is provided. The carrying program 34 makes the value of the position at which a plate W is held to a plate carrying apparatus 4 in a carrying away stage undecided. The carrying controller 33 is provided with a holding position information creating means 38 for creating the undecided value of the carrying program 34 in accordance with setting rules so that the plate W is held at a position other than the working position of the plate W in the plate carrying apparatus 4 based on the information F1 on the working position.
