The present invention relates to a method, arrangement and computer-readable medium for optimizing code utilization in a code division multiple access (CDMA) communication network comprising a first communication network entity (10), a second communication network entity (15) connected to said first communication network entity over a communication interface and one or more user equipments (18) transmitting data using a scrambling code to said second communication network entity (15) over a radio interface on an uplink channel (14).
