<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device to obtain an image less affected by foreign matter even if foreign matter sticks near an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises: an imaging element 42 for photoelectrically converting a subject image; a memory 49 for storing foreign matter area information as information about foreign matter sticking near the imaging element; a misalignment detecting part 44 for detecting misalignment between a plurality of images formed by picking up images of approximately the same subject by means of the imaging element; an image composition part 44 for combining an image by aligning the plurality of images based on the detection result of the misalignment detecting part; and an image correcting part 44 for correcting, based on the detection result of the misalignment detecting part and the foreign matter information stored in the memory, some of the plurality of images including the foreign matter in a first image, using some of the plurality of images not including the foreign matter in a second image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
