<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system, a path managing method and a path managing apparatus which can secure processing performance requested by a user while improving access performance from a host device to a storage device. <P>SOLUTION: Path switching control for dynamically switching a path route to be used by the host device is executed in accordance with a load state of each path route between the host device and the storage device, and when necessary, a path route is selected in accordance with a policy composed of a path route switching rule prepared by a user, the selected path route is excluded from a target, and path switching control for dynamically switching a path route to be used by the host device is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
