PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment, capable of reducing the cost and lowering the output impedance of a battery pack for long battery duration and protection of the battery or the like, by eliminating an overdischarge preventing circuit and an overcharge preventing circuit, inside the battery pack. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment 100 is provided with a transistor 8 as a switching device, between an input contact 1 for charging and a transistor 12 for controlling charging. When an external input voltage, applied to the input contact 1, is a predetermined voltage of 5.00 V or larger, the transistor 8 is turned off. When a protective circuit 29 for detecting a battery voltage 14a detects a voltage of 4.25 V, which is greater than a specified voltage of 4.20 V controlled by a charge control circuit 13, the transistor 8 is turned off.
