PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier circuit which highly precisely amplifies an input signal by eliminating degradation in characteristics due to charge inflow from a switch element while achieving reduction in circuit scale and power consumption and reduction in voltage, and an application circuit thereof. SOLUTION: The amplifier circuit comprises: an input signal generation circuit 10 which converts an external input signal to a differential discrete signal; a switched capacitor type amplifier 9 which comprises an amplifier 5, input capacitances 1 and 2 connected between an output terminal of the input signal generation circuit and an input terminal of the amplifier 5, feedback capacitances 3 and 4 connected between input and output terminals of the amplifier, a switch 6 connected between output terminals of the input signal generation circuit, a switch connected between input terminals of the amplifier, and a switch 8 connected between output terminals of the amplifier; and a control circuit 11 which exclusively controls the switches 6, 7, and 8.
