PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residential building receiver preferable for fire prevention, capable of effectively exhibiting an alarm temporary stop function in construction of a system for receiving a first fire signal and a second fire signal. SOLUTION: The residential building receiver 1 used in an apartment house fire alarm system for receiving the first and second fire signals from a house receiver 2 set in each house of apartment houses and performing alarm control has the temporary stop function for stopping output of alarm signal to the house receiver 2, counts the receiving frequency every receipt of the first fire signal, and automatically releases the temporary stop function when the second fire signal is received and the receiving frequency of the first fire signal at that time is a predetermined number, or the first fire signal is received from another house in a predetermined cancel time.
