PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation construction method which achieves base isolation of a masonry structure such as a stack, by carrying out relatively simple work, and sufficiently ensures the reliability after base isolation construction. SOLUTION: The stack 32' vertically extends and penetrates a story to be subjected to base isolation, and a skeletal wall 25A is formed in a manner enclosing the periphery of the stack. To implement the method, first a filler 18 is filled and hardened in a gap between the skeletal wall 25A and the stack 32', and then core holes 19 penetrating the stack 32', the filler 18, and the skeletal wall 25A are formed, followed by filling and hardening another filler in the core holes 19, to thereby form support members 12.
