PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition having improved processability as excellent silica dispersibility and excellent rolling resistance performance without impairing abrasion resistance and wet performance. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 5-150 parts wt. of silica and 0.5-15 parts wt. of a silane coupling agent based on 100 parts wt. of a rubber component containing≥20 parts wt. of at least one kind of styrene-butadiene rubber and contains 1-10 wt.% based on the styrene-butadiene rubber component of epoxidized styrene-butadiene rubber having the epoxidation ratio of butadiene part of 0.05-5 mol% in the rubber component.
