PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost and to change a rising condition and a falling-down condition of a manually operated handle easily. SOLUTION: This loading and unloading work vehicle is constituted in such a way that a work vehicle main body 1 is provided with a loading base for loading a load, a hydraulic cylinder for lifting the loading base, and a hydraulic unit 25 for operating the hydraulic cylinder and the manually operated handle 31 is attached to the work vehicle main body 1 to rise or fall down. Handle turning lock mechanisms 30, 30 are arranged on both sides of a turning basic part of the manually operated handle, and an operation shaft 28 of a valve for letting pressure out of it provided in the hydraulic unit is arranged between right and left handle turning lock mechanisms. A lower part of a rod 36 for letting pressure out of it attached to the manually operated handle is connected with a lock shaft 46 provided between the right and left handle turning lock mechanisms, and fitting parts are provided at a lower end of the rod for letting pressure out of it and on the operation shaft of the valve for letting pressure out of it, respectively, to engage the lock shaft 46 of the handle turning lock mechanisms and release the engagement and fit the fitting parts and release the fitting in the interlocking relationship.
